Large Store Sales Index. 08/2025

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia decreased by 0.2% in August 2025 compared to the same month of 2024. By product group, sales of non-food products decreased by 0.6%, while food sales remained practically stable (−0.1%).

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the Index showed a year-over-year fall of 2.6%. Food sales decreased by 2.5% and rest of products sales decreased by 2.6%.
