Industrial Price Index. 09/2025

The industrial products price index (base 2021=100), which does not include energy, increased by 0.9% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in September 2025.

During the same period the Industrial Price Index (which includes energy) increased by 0.6% compared with the same month of the previous year. By large industrial sectors, prices of consumer goods increased by 3.0% and those of capital goods by 1.2%; on the other hand, prices of intermediate goods decreased by 1.4% and energy prices by 0.8%.

Moreover, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases in prices were registered in manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (4.3%) and in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products (3.8%). By contrast, the most significant decreases in prices were registered in chemical industries (−4.4%) and in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment (−0.8%) .
