Fulfilment of the 2024 Annual Programme for Statistical Action (PAAE 2024)

Idescat publishes the report on the fulfillment of the statistical actions of the PAAE 2024, which are disseminated in the web section Annual programs of statistical action in order to guarantee transparency and accessibility to official information.

This section incorporates, for each statistical action, information on the following aspects:

  • The action's degree of fulfilment
  • The information available
  • The time period for the data
  • The territorial disaggregation of the published data
  • The links to the published statistics results
  • The reasons for the lack of fulfilment (in the case of statistical actions not carried out or partially carried out)

Idescat hosts on its website the statistical results generated by the Statistical System of Catalonia in order to facilitate consultation.

The Idescat has as one of its functions to monitor the execution of the PAAE, supervise it and approve it (article 10.s of Law 23/1998, of December 30 on statistics of Catalonia and the Article 2.s of Decree 24/2014, of 25 February, on the organization and operation of the Idescat). It is also his responsibility to prepare a report on the degree of compliance with the PAAE (and, where appropriate, the causes of non-compliance), for which the Government must report to the Parliament of Catalonia (Article 13.3 of Law 5/2016 , of December 23, of the Statistical Plan of Catalonia 2017-2020 and of the amendment of Law 23/1998, of Statistics of Catalonia which is currently extended by effect of which is provided in article 41.2 of Law 23/1998, of December 30, on statistics of Catalonia).
