Retail Trade Index. 01/2026

The General Retail Trade Index without service stations, at current prices, increased by 4.4% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in January 2026. By product type and activity, food grew by 5.9% and the rest of products by 3.2%. During the same period, the General Retail Trade Index with service stations, at current prices, increased by 3.8% compared to one year ago.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the Retail Trade Index without service stations increased by 2.6% year over year.
