Large Store Sales Index. 01/2026

The Large Store Sales Index of Catalonia increased by 5.8% in Januaryr 2026 compared to the same month of 2025. By product group, food sales rose by 6.3% and sales of the rest of products, by 5.3%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the Index showed a year-over-year rose of 4.0%. Sales of non-food products increased by 4.8% and food sales, by 3.4%.
