Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 05/2026

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 0.3% in Catalonia in May 2026 and stood at 137.95 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Barcelona, Costa Brava and Costa Barcelona showed the highest values (221.46 euros, 91.81 euros and 91.62 euros, respectively). Costa Brava and Costa Barcelona had positive variation rates of 9.0% and of 1.4%, respectively, while Barcelona had a negative variation rate of 2.6%.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 2.4% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 100.28 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
