Large Store Sales Index. 05/2026

The Large Store Sales Index of Catalonia at constant prices increased by 0.6% in May 2026 compared to the same month in 2025 in the seasonally and calendar adjusted series. By product group, the year-over-year increase was basically caused by the growth of the sales index of non-food products (3.2%), as the food index decreased (−1.8%). Compared to April, the general index increased by 0.5%.

The original series of the general index at constant prices recorded a year-over-year decrease of 1.0% in March and, at current prices, an increase of 0.3%.
