As for boys, second place went to Nil (375), followed by Marc (371), Jan (347), and Martí (338). As for girls, Sofia/Sofía (427) ranked second, followed by Martina (357), Emma (349), and Ona (344).

By areas of the Territorial Plan, Mateo remained the most common name given to boys born in the Metropolitan Area; Jan was the most frequent name in the Girona Counties and El Camp de Tarragona; Marc in Les Terres de l'Ebre and El Penedès; Nil in the Central Counties; Hugo in the Ponent; and Pau in L'Alt Pirineu i Aran.

As for girls, Sofia/Sofía was the most common name given to girls born in the Metropolitan Area and Les Terres de l'Ebre. Júlia/Julia was the most popular name in El Camp de Tarragona, the Central Counties, El Penedès, and Ponent. Martina ranked first in the Girona Counties and L'Alt Pirineu i Aran .
