Business Climate Survey. Q2/2026

The business situation of companies in Catalonia in the second quarter of 2026 registered a balance of 11.7 points. A total of 22.3% of the managers had a favourable opinion of their business situation in the first quarter, while a total of 10.6% had an unfavourable opinion. The remaining 67.0% considered that their business situation remained stable.

By activity sector, all of them have positive balances. The sectors of construction, accommodation and food service activities and other services stand out with balances of 16.3, 15.3 and 13.7 points, respectively.

Moreover, expectations regarding the business situation for the third quarter of 2026 registered a balance of 9.1 points. A total of 20.1% of managers believe that their business situation will be favourable, while 11.0% believe that it will be unfavourable. The remaining 68.9% believe that it will remain stable.
