Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 08/2026

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 6.2% in Catalonia in August 2026 and stood at 155.44 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Barcelona, Costa Daurada and Costa Brava showed the highest values (173.05 euros, 163.34 euros and 161.82 euros, respectively), with positive variation rates of 4.2%, 7.1% and 8.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 7.5% compared with the same month of the previous year and stood at 132.91 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
