Business Climate Survey. Q3/2026

The business situation of companies in Catalonia in the third quarter of 2026 registered a balance of 7.2 points. A total of 19.9% of the managers had a favourable opinion of their business situation in the third quarter, while a total of 12.7% had an unfavourable opinion. The remaining 67.5% considered that their business situation remained stable.

By activity sector, all of them have positive balances. The sectors of construction, other services and accommodation and food service activities stand out with positive balances of 10.2, 9.9 and 7.8 points, respectively.

Moreover, expectations regarding the business situation for the fourth quarter of 2026 registered a balance of 5.9 points. A total of 18.4% of managers believe that their business situation will be favourable, while 12.5% believe that it will be unfavourable. The remaining 69.1% believe that it will remain stable.
