Retail Trade Index. 09/2026

The general retail trade index excluding service stations at constant prices, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, decreased by 1.5% year-on-year in Catalonia in September 2026. By type of product, according to the company's activity, food decreased by 1.5%, while other products increased by 0.3%. In the same period, the general retail trade index including service stations at constant prices decreased by 2.7% compared with a year earlier.

Compared with August, the general retail trade index at constant prices, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, and the general index excluding service stations increased by 1.0% and 1.2%, respectively.
