Large Store Sales Index. 09/2026

The Large Store Sales Index of Catalonia at constant prices decreased by 4.2% in September 2026 compared with the same month in 2025 in the seasonally and calendar adjusted series. By product group, both the sales index for food products (−3.1%) and the index for other products (−4.6%) decreased, which explains the decline in the general index. Compared with August, the general index decreased by 2.2%.

The original series of the general index at constant prices decreased by 4.5% in September compared to a year ago and decreased by 1.0% at current prices.
