IPPA Statistics on Agricultural Prices

Obtaining of the basic statistics on farm prices, both with regard to agricultural products quoted in markets with the prices received and paid by farmers, compiling the information in which the prices of agricultural products and the means of production of the most significant branches of production and marketing are recorded. The periodicity is weekly for prices in wholesale and retail markets and monthly for prices received and paid by farmers. It is proposed to enhance the statistics of agri-food prices and, thereby, the capture of new prices of some farm products that are regarded as benchmark prices for the sector on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as determined in each case.
