PROAGR Statistics on Crop Production and Surface Areas

Each year, the Ministry's offices at the county level provide the data on distribution by uses of the land area of the municipalities in each county. The figures obtained will thus constitute the basic information on land areas. With respect to agricultural areas and output, the information is provided by professionals in the sector itself (farmers, cooperatives, etc.) and other ways to ascertain the facts on the ground that are managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food.
