The entry into force of Royal Decree 463/2020, of 14 March, whereby a state of alarm is declared for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, has meant that many companies have closed or produced with less intensity since that date. Despite this circumstance, the response rate has been very acceptable, consequently the quality of the information is similar to that of any other quarter. The most important impact on the Labour Cost Statistics is seen in both the decrease in labor costs and the reduction in the hours worked.
