Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Indexes of Production and Turnover. Q4/2022

The Production Index in the Service Sector (IPROSS) (base 2015=100) increased by 7.4% on year-over-year data in Catalonia in the fourth quarter of 2022. Furthermore, the Turnover Index (IASSVN) also showed an increase of 12.4% compared to a year ago, since trade grew by 11.6% and the other services (this is to say, non-commercial ones) increased by 13.9%. Within the other services, the most significant increases were in accommodation and food service activities (20.8%) and in professional, scientific and technical activities (18.2%).
