Statistics and Accounts of the ICT Companies. 2022

The turnover of the ICT sector in Catalonia was 24,503 million euros in 2022, a figure that shows a 10.3% increase compared to the year before. The sector generated a gross added value of 9,508 million euros (11.6% more than in 2021) and employed 133,420 people, meaning an increase of 8.5%.

By activities, those that generated the highest turnover belong to the services sector: IT services, Wholesale trade of ICT equipment and Telecommunications. The 3 of them represented 91.7% of service ICT activities and 86.5% of total ICT activities.
